Oregon Coast Community College; Time TBA

This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to be evaluated by an independent adjudicator.  They will be quizzed over theory learned, and play three memorized solos.  Exams take 20-30 minutes; fees are $23 for Level I & II; $29 for Level III-V.



Thursday, May 31, 2012 Summer Studio Recital
Yaquina Bay Baptist Church; 7:00 pm

A time to celebrate what students have accomplished over the year, while getting to know one another in a casual atmosphere.  This year Cherylann Buckley will be joining with her students to share even more musical treasures. 


Sunday, September 16, 2012 Spotlight on the Teachers Concert
Newport Performing Arts Center, 3:00 pm

A fun opportunity for your student to hear their teacher play.  Many talented teachers from Lincoln County will perform solos, duets, and ensembles.  There is no admission, but donations are accepted for the Suzanne Brown Student Aid Fund.


Sunday, November 18, 2012 Ensemble Festival
 Newport Performing Arts Center

A time for students to perform with others, as well as participate competitively and receive comments from a master adjudicator.


Saturday, March 16, 2013  Ribbon Festival
Newport Performing Arts Center, 9:00am-12noon or 1:00pm-4:00pm

Students can perform a solo, duet, original composition, as well as enter art work and a TShirt design at this exciting recital which includes over 100 students from Lincoln County.  More information about registration will be provided soon.
